AGL Discuss Recap: What local, city, county, state level governments are using Agile?

Earlier this month we asked the AGL LinkedIn group “What local, city, county, state level governments are using Agile?” and heard from people in both City and County level government.

  • Salt Lake City is using Agile and has seen that they are more informed, more productive and more accountable.
  • Collin County, Texas is using Agile across App Dev, GIS and Records.
  • The Department of Environmental Conservation in Alaska is using Agile.
  • The City of Des Moines is starting to use Agile in IT management, web and GIS.

We want to hear about more local government using Agile so please continue the discussion here.
