Agility and security should go hand in hand

Agencies looking to employ agile and DevOps practices should seek delivery teams that are focused on security intelligence, continuous automation, and a ‘secure first’ culture.

There is a crucial need to approach agile with an eye toward building security into the software development process. While the government can optimize the way it buys, deploys, and maintains technology, doing so cannot be at the expense of software assurance or data privacy.
