Head of UK’s environmental services plans ‘agile response’ to Brexit

Environmental Services Association (UK)Agile in government extends beyond development, as demonstrated by the new chairman of the UK’s Environmental Services Agency, Stewart Davies.

According to Let’s Recycle, Davies is applying the agile principles of responding to change and increasing communication in the wake of Brexit as he seeks to highlight ‘productivity benefits’ available to the UK economy through investment in waste infrastructure.

“The fact that there is a lot of uncertainty is really material for the industry . . . So the ESA needs to be agile to seize the opportunities and to be clear and strong and effective in spotting the risks and addressing those early.”
