Singapore Finance Minister lays out agile economic strategy

Singapore GovernmentAs agile development methods continue to gain traction in agencies across the globe, governments are also taking the agile approach to economic strategies, according to The Straits Times.

In a recent budget speech, Singapore Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat laid out an agile game plan for Singapore’s maturing economy, with a focus on adaptability.

“We will take a learning and adaptive approach, try new methods, continue with them when they work well, cut losses when they do not, and draw on feedback and experience to adjust and refine our plans,” he said. “That is the Singapore way.”
